SYSTEM NOTICE: Friday, February 10, 2012, through Sunday February 12, 2012 there will be a planned power outage in one of our USGS facilities. This should not affect the availability of any data that we serve; however, the mapping interface which displays sites on a map will be unavailable. [!] During cold weather, ice effects on stage, ground water levels, precipitation and water quality parameters at some stream-gaging stations and wells are likely. Data values reported on these pages may be significantly higher or lower than actual values. Adjustment of data for ice effects can only be done after detailed analysis. Users are encouraged to contact this office for more information on specific stream-gaging stations or wells.

Choose from the following criteria to constrain the number of sites selected.   If no additional site-selection criteria are chosen and no additional specifications are defined on the following page then output will be for all sites in Dist. of Columbia that have .

County or county equivalent. i.e. Parish, Province, Municipio
Subsection of a major riversheds in a state

Latitude and longitude of two opposing corners in a box (NAD83 datum is assumed for DMS values.
Site names generally include river and lake names. For wells it can be the local number
Number 2 to 15 long that uniquely defines a site
Enter multiple Site numbers to display many stations at the same time
Organization identifier that set-up and administers the site. (USGS, NWS,..)
File on your computer that contains a list of Site numbers
(stream, lake, spring, precipitation, ..)
Altitude of the site referenced to the specified Vertical Datum
Drainage area
Type of data available at site
Enter how deep or how shallow of a well to search on
Enter how deep or how shallow of a hole to search on
National aquifer name (list sorted by code)
National aquifer name (list sorted by name)
