LOCATION - Lat 33°57'54", long 84°15'53" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Gwinnett County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130001, On downstream side of the bridge on Spalding drive, 3.2 miles northwest of Norcross, and 0.6 miles upstream from the Chattahoochee River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8.87 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-GA-2010: 2009.

GAGE-HEIGHT: March 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder and a continuous water-quality monitor. Datum of gage is 869.90 feet above the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Positioning System equipment).
COOPERATION - Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Data for parameter code 63680 (turbidity) were collected using a probe with the following specifications: turbidity, water, monochrome near infra-red LED light, 780-900 nm, detection angle 90 +/-2.5 degrees, FNU (Formazin Nephelometric Units). Prior to October 1, 2004, turbidity data were published using parameter code 00076: turbidity, water, unfiltered, NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units). Hydrologic event 9 indicates a routine sample while J designates a storm event sample. Laboratory chemical analyses are by RTI Laboratories, Livonia, MI. Laboratory sediment analyses are by the U.S. Geological Survey, Kentucky Sediment Laboratory. Field determinations of discharge, gage height, specific conductance, pH, water temperature, turbidity, air tempteraure, barometric pressure and dissolved oxygen are by the U.S. Geological Survey.

TURBIDITY: Maximum recorded, >2,200 FNU on many days; minimum recorded, 0.5 FNU, July 16, 2014.
