LOCATION.--Lat 44° 23'30", long 116° 53'40" (NAD27), in NE1/4 sec.11, T.12 N., R.5 W., Washington County, Mann Creek NW quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050124, on left bank 2 mi upstream from U.S. Highway 95, 10 mi northeast of Weiser, and at mile 11.5. (This site prior to Mann Creek Dam, 1965.)
DRAINAGE AREA.--56.0 mi2. Mean elevation, 4,860 ft.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--March 1911 to September 1913, July to November 1920, April 1937 to January 1962 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 2,830 ft, from topographic map. Prior to Feb. 9, 1951, staff gages at sites within 1,000 ft upstream at different datums.
REMARKS.--Diversion above station for irrigation.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 1,540 ft3/s Mar. 27, 1940,
gage height, 5.45 ft, from floodmark, site and datum then in use, from
rating curve extended above slope-area measurement at gage height 4.21 ft;
no flow Aug. 18 to Sept. 22, 1937, July 31 to Sept. 13, 1939.
