This gaging station is maintained in cooperation with:

  • Fort Wayne, Indiana Flood Control
  • Indiana USGS Water Science Center

Note to users of real-time data: this streamgage is located just upstream of a large dam equipped with adjustable gates to regulate flows in the river. These gate settings are changed from time to time, and changes may cause large variations from the stage-discharge rating - if a change is made the associated variation will not be defined until a streamflow measurement is made at the site; therefore between measurements the streamflow displayed here may depart substantially from the true streamflow. Measurements are typically made once every eight weeks.
