NOTICE (10/3/2017) Effective October 1, 2017, data collection at this site has been discontinued due to funding reductions from partner agencies. Although historic data will remain accessible, no new data will be collected unless one or more new funding partners are found. Users who can contribute funding for the non-Federal share of costs to continue operation of this station should contact Jon Dillow of the USGS Maryland, Delaware, DC Water Science Center at (443-498-5524).
LOCATION.--Lat 39°03'14.7", long 76°03'16.8", Queen Anne's County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02060002, 
   on left bank at downstream side of bridge on State Highway 213, at Centerville, and 0.7 mi
   upstream of confluence with Yellow Bank Stream. 
DRAINAGE AREA.--9.50 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 2006 to September 2017 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 0.35 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 2,470 ft3/s, Oct. 29, 2012,
   gage height, 7.58 ft; minimum discharge, 0.32 ft3/s, Sept. 30, 2007.
