Serving more USGS data for North Carolina and the Nation

You have been redirected to the NWISWeb site which has been designed to serve USGS National Water Information System (NWIS) data on the web. NWISWeb provides many new features for displaying real-time and allows you to display many other types of water data. This web system is necessarily complex due to the large amount of data and data types. You can now access real-time and historical ground-water, surface-water, and water-quality data from one centralized system. Just like any new system, it will take a little getting used to, but we hope that you will find the enhanced access and increased functionality well worth it. The data you were used to looking at is still available and can be bookmarked just like the old pages.
