NOTICE: This gaging station, as well as 9 others, were discontinued on July 23, 2014, due to lack of funding. The gages were installed as part of the New Jersey Bridge Scour Program funded by New Jersey Department of Transportation.
LOCATION.--Lat 40°52'24", long 74°32'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Randolph Township, Morris County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030103, on upstream right wingwall of bridge on State Route 10 in Victory Gardens, 0.75 mi east of Franklin Road, 0.75 mi upstream of Rockaway River, and 1.5 mi southeast of Dover.
DRAINAGE AREA.--4.26 mi2
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 2008 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder, velocity meter, and two crest-stage gages. Datum of gage is 550 ft above NAVD of 1988.
COOPERATION.--New Jersey Department of Transportation.
