gage photoLOCATION. --Lat 40°48'44", long 74°30'43" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Morris Township, Morris County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030103, on left downstream wingwall of bridge on Sussex Avenue, 1.9 mi northwest of Morristown, and 2.7 mi upstream from Lake Pocahontas Dam.
DRAINAGE AREA. --14.0 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Operated as low-flow partial-record station from 1964-1972. Continuous gaging station from August, 1995 to the current year.
GAGE. --Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 310 ft above NGVD of 1929 (levels from topographic Map).
COOPERATION. New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection
