gage photo LOCATION.--Lat 40°59'55", long 74°17'53" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Morris County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030103, at bridge on Paterson-Hamburg Turnpike in Riverdale, 0.6 mi upstream from Wanaque River, and 2.8 mi upstream of mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--83.9 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Annual Maximum, water years 1980-83. Occasional low-flow measurements, water years 1963, 1998, 2001-02, 2005. Continuous-record gaging station 1993-97, and August 2011 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 187.90 ft above NGVD of 1929.
COOPERATION. --New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
