    National Weather Service flood stage for this gage is 2.5 feet.

    Water level in the lake is drawn down below the crest of the dam for repairs to the dam. At normal flow conditions the water level sensor is out of water. Conditions will remain the same until completion of repairs expected in October 2012, when the lake will be refilled.

Lat 40°43'54", long 74°18'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Millburn Township, Essex County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030104, on right bank 100 ft upstream from Diamond Mill Pond Dam, 1,000 ft upstream from Glen Avenue in Millburn, and 1.9 mi upstream from confluence with East Branch.
    DRAINAGE AREA. 7.10 mi2.
    PERIOD OF RECORD. 1940-50 (continuous-record gaging station), 1973, 1998 to current year (crest-stage partial-record station).
    GAGE. Water-stage recorder, and Crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 173.65 ft above NGVD of 1929.
    COOPERATION. Funding for this gage is provided by Essex County New Jersey, and the U.S. Geological Survey.
