LOCATION. --Lat 40°33'24", long 74°41'15" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bridgewater Township, Somerset County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030105, on upstream left wingwall of bridge on Old York Road (County Route 567), 0.8 mi northeast of village of South Branch, and 500 ft upstream from confluence with South Branch Raritan River.
DRAINAGE AREA. --190 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD. --Water years 1993 to current year.
GAGE. --Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 46.03 ft above NGVD of 1929. Occasionally reservoir releases from Round Valley Reservoir are included in the flow at this gage.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD. --Maximum gage height, 18.98 ft, Sep 16, 1999.
