LOCATION. --Lat 39°18'25", long 74°49'14" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Upper Township, Cape May County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040302, on right bank at highway bridge on State Route 49, 0.2 mi upstream from McNeals Branch, 0.4 mi southeast of Head of River, and 3.7 mi west of Tuckahoe.
DRAINAGE AREA. --30.8 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD. --December 1969 to current year.
GAGE. --Water-stage recorder above wooden control, downstream tidal crest-stage gage, and water-stage recorder below control since October 2003. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929. Occasionally the tide affects the gage height at this gage. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929. Subtract 1.28 feet from gage readings to get elevations to NAVD of 1988.
