01396152 FLANDERS BROOK AT US ROUTE 206, NEAR FLANDERS, NJ
LOCATION - Lat 40°51'21", long 74°42'04" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Mount Olive Township, Morris County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030105, on downstream left wingwall of bridge on US Route 206 in Flanders, 0.3 mi north of Flanders Netcong Road, 0.8 mi upstream of Drakes Brook, and 1.6 mi east of Mount Olive.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1.97 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous-record gaging station, June 2008 to March 2014. Prior to Oct 28, 2011 gage located at the upstream side of the bridge at the same datum.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 870 ft NAVD 1988 (from topographic map).
REMARKS - Records fair, except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 1,360 ft³/s, Aug 28, 2011, gage height, 8.57 ft, at former location on the upstream side of the bridge; minimum discharge, 0.57 ft³/s, many days.
