LOCATION.--Lat 42° 20'34", long 111° 10'34"(Rev.)(NAD83), in NE1/4 sec.34, T.12 S., R.45 E., Bear Lake County, Montpelier Canyon quad., Hydrologic Unit 16010201, 150 ft upstream from bridge on U.S. Highway 89, 275 ft upstream from South Fork, and 6.8 mi northeast of Montpelier.

DRAINAGE AREA.--28.2 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1939 to December 1944 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 6,427.46 ft above sea level, adjustment of 1912.

REMARKS.---One diversion from tributary about 2 mi above station for irrigation. Many diversions below station for irrigation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 136 ft3/s Apr. 24, 1943, gage height, 3.35 ft; minimum recorded, 1.5 ft3/s Mar. 28, 29, 1942, but may have been less during periods of ice effect.
