LOCATION.--Lat 42° 18'16", long 112° 12'10"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SW1/4 sec.12, T.13 S., R.36 E., Oneida County, Malad Summit quad., Hydrologic Unit 16010204, 0.6 mi upstream from (proposed -1961) dam, 1.3 mi upstream from highway crossing of Campbell Creek, 4.5 mi upstream from Evans dividers, and 7.5 mi northeast of Malad City.
DRAINAGE AREA.--12.6 mi2, revised.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1938 to October 1961 (discontinued). Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1314. Published as "near Malad" prior to 1949.
REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1344: 1943 (M). WSP 1514: 1942.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,150 ft above sea level, by barometer. Prior to Dec. 16, 1943, staff gage, and Dec. 16, 1943 to Aug. 22, 1954, water-stage recorder, at site 50 ft upstream at datum 1.84 ft higher.
REMARKS.--Diversions above station for irrigation of 20 to 30 acres. Stream receives part of flow of Birch Creek above station. Malad powerplant and it's small reservoir on Birch Creek cause slight diurnal fluctuations.
