This station is owned and operated by the Seattle City Light. Normal lake gage height varies from record minimum 852.8 feet and 911.8 feet, with levels above 906 feet flows through Rattlesnake Ditch toward Boxley Creek.

The datum of the gage has been determined to be 10.73 ft above NAVD 1988. To obtain stream water-surface elevation values in NAVD 1988, add 10.73 to gage height values.
This station managed by the Western Washington Field Office (Tacoma).
