LOCATION.--Lat 47° 29'30", long 115° 57'15" (NAD27), in SE1/4 NE1/4 SW1/4 sec.21, T.48 N., R.4 E., Shoshone County, Wallace quad., Hydrologic Unit 17010302, on right bank 30 ft upstream from county road bridge, at the off ramp of U.S. Highway I-90 at Silverton, 700 ft downstream from Lake Creek, and at mile 17.4.

DRAINAGE AREA.--108 mi2. Area at site used prior to September 1, 1976, 103 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1967 to September 1986, October 1986 to March 1987 (discharge measurements only), April 1987 to September 1988, October 1998 to April 2000 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2,617.10 ft above sea level, (levels by Idaho Department of Transportation). Prior to September 1988, nonrecording and crest-stage gages. Prior to Sept. 1, 1976, at site 1,100 ft upstream at different datum. September 1976 to June 7, 1978, at datum 1 ft higher.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 4,300 ft3/s Jan. 16, 1974, gage height, 10.80 ft; minimum daily discharge, 19 ft3/s Jan. 5, 1988; minimum gage height, 2.85 ft, Oct. 7, 8, Dec. 31, 1974, site and datum then in use.
