LOCATION.--Lat 47° 29'05", long 116° 03'49" (NAD83), in NE1/4 NE1/4 NW1/4 sec.27, T.48 N., R.3 E., Kootenai County, Polaris Peak quad., Hydrologic Unit 17010303, on right bank 0.4 mi upstream from West Fork, 1.2 mi downstream from East Fork, 3.3 mi upstream from mouth, and 4 mi southeast of Kellogg.

DRAINAGE AREA.--20.9 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 1970 to October 1974 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,800 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. No previous records obtained at this site.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 2,520 ft3/s Jan. 16, 1974, gage height, 11.2 ft; minimum discharge, 3.5 ft3/s Dec. 4, 1973, gage height, 3.93 ft.
