LOCATION.--Lat 44° 30'44", long 111° 17'27"(Rev.)(NAD27), in NW1/4 sec.29, T.14 N., R.44 E., Fremont County, Big Springs quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040202, at bridge crossing, 1.5 mi upstream from Big Springs Creek, and 2 mi northwest of Big Springs. DRAINAGE AREA.--168.9 mi2 (Revised 2008). PERIOD OF RECORD.--April to June 1932 (discontinued). Discharge measurements also made on Nov. 11, 1931, July 11, Aug. 9, 1932. GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 6,400 ft above NGVD of 1929, from river-profile map. REMARKS.--Gates at Henrys Lake Dam (sta 13039000) closed during period of record. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 647 ft3/s May 12, 1932, gage height, 5.58 ft; minimum observed, 11 ft3/s Apr. 1-4, 1932, gage height, 0.80 ft.
