LOCATION.--Lat 43° 45', long 111° 12' (NAD27), in SE1/4 sec.13 T.5 N., R.44 E., Teton County, ID, Tetonia quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040204, about 4 mi downstream from Teton Creek, and 5 mi northwest from Driggs.
DRAINAGE AREA.--303 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--May 1935 to August 1940 (mostly seasonal, discontinued).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 6,760 ft above NGVD of 1929, by barometer.
REMARKS.--Diversions for irrigation from tributaries above station.
COOPERATION.--Gage-height record and results of discharge measurements furnished by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, except May to July 1940 furnished by the Soil Conservation Service.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 1,480 ft3/s
June 2, 1936, gage height, 2.34; minimum observed, 132 ft3/s Nov. 19, 24, 1935,
gage height, 1.60 ft, but may have been less during periods of ice effect.
