LOCATION.--Lat 43° 54'33", long 111° 32'16" (NAD27), in NE1/4 NE1/4 sec.30, T.7 N., R.42 E., Madison County, ID, Newdale quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040204, on left bank near control tower of Teton Dam on Teton River, 3.4 mi northeast of Newdale, and at mile 19.9.
DRAINAGE AREA.--851 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1975 to June 5, 1976 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Nonrecording gage. Datum of gage is at mean sea level.
REMARKS.--Reservoir was formed by 305-ft high earthfill dam. Total capacity was 288,200 acre-ft. Teton Dam failed at noon on June 5, releasing all but about 10,000 acre-ft of the reservoir storage.
