LOCATION.--Lat 43° 46'48", long 111° 37'21" (NAD27), NW1/4 SW1/4 NW1/4 sec.10, T.5 N., R.41 E. Madison County, White Owl Butte quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040204, 11 ft upstream from road bridge, 0.9 mi upstream from Dry Canyon Creek, and approximately 8.5 mi southeast of Rexburg.

DRAINAGE AREA.--49.9 mi2. (Not previously published).

PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1979 to July 1983, January 1984 to September 1986 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Nonrecording gage, staff and crest-stage gages. Elevation of gage is 5,240 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Almost entire flow diverted at times for irrigation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 546 ft3/s May 27, 1983, gage height, 4.70 ft; minimum daily, 0.71 ft3/s on many days in 1981.
