LOCATION.--Lat 43° 22', long 112° 09' (NAD27), in sec.31, T.1 N., R.37 E., Bingham County, Firth quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040206, 600 ft below headgates on Snake River, and 1.5 mi southwest of Shelley.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June to September 1912, August 1914 to September 1918 (irrigation seasons only) (discontinued). No water diverted during 1913 irrigation season due to break in canal.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,580 ft above NGVD, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Canal diverts from the left bank of Snake River in sec.31 T.1 N., R.37 E., and discharges into Blackfoot River in sec.24, T.2 S., R.36 E., for irrigation of lands in Fort Hall project of Office of Indian Affairs.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge recorded, 308 ft3/s
July 29, 1912, gage height, 3.7 ft; no flow during 1913 and many times
during non-irrigation seasons.
