LOCATION.--Lat 43° 11', long 112° 23' (NAD27), in sec.5 and 7, T.3 S., R.35 E., Bingham County, Moreland quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040206, 0.75 mi downstream from Blackfoot Bridge, and 2 mi west of Blackfoot.

DRAINAGE AREA.--9,950 mi2.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1924 to September 1932 (irrigation seasons only) (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,462 ft above NGVD of 1929, from river-profile map. Auxiliary gage on a smaller channel in sec.7.

REMARKS.--Flow regulated by upstream storage and diversions. Practically entire flow diverted at times. Flow is in 2 (or at times 3) channels.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 33,500 ft3/s (estimated), July 1, 1927; channel dry on many days.
