USGS 13090998 BLUE LAKES SPRING PUMPING PLANT NR TWIN FALLS ID

LOCATION.--Lat 42° 36'54", long 114° 27'55" (NAD83), in SW1/4 NW1/4 NW1/4 sec.28, T.9 S., R.17 E., Jerome County, Twin Falls quad., Hydrologic Unit 17040212, 0.6 mi south from the left bank of the Snake River, 610.5 mi upstream from it's mouth, 0.6 mi south of the pipes that cross the Snake River, and 0.4 mi south of Canyon Springs Golf Course club house.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 2001 to current year.

COOPERATION.--City of Twin Falls.

REMARKS.--Pumping plant has four pumps diverting flow from the head of the spring into two main pipes (East and West). Daily discharge for this site represents the combined flow from both pipes, and is combined with the flow for Blue Lakes Spring below Pumping Plant (13090999) to determine total flow for Blue Lakes Spring (13091000).

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum daily discharge, 33 ft3/s July 20, 2005; no flow at times most years.
