LOCATION.--Lat 42° 37'05", long 114° 50'40" (NAD27), in SE1/4 NW1/4 sec.29, T.9 S., R.14 E., Twin Falls County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17040212, Buhl quad., 0.2 mi downstream from Twin Falls Canal Co. diversion dam, 0.25 mi upstream from U.S. Highway 30, 4.5 mi northwest from Buhl, and 5 mi upstream from mouth.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1955 to July 1958, April 1980 to September 1981, March to September 1985 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 3,500 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Flow is waste from irrigation and stock, is controlled by diversion dam.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 393 ft3/s Apr. 13, 1985, gage height, 2.18 ft; maximum gage height, 2.90 ft, Nov. 27, 1955; minimum daily discharge, 1.0 ft3/s several days in April, May, July 1958.
