USGS 13102000 ISLAND DITCH NEAR SAN JACINTO, NV

LOCATION.--Lat 41° 52'00", long 114° 41'20" (NAD27), in sec.23, T.46 N., R.64 E., Elko County, NV, Hydrologic Unit 17040213, Middle Stack Mountain quad., about 100 ft downstream from ditch heading, and about 2 mi south of San Jacinto, Nevada.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--July to September 1914 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Staff gage.

REMARKS.--Ditch diverted at head of island of Salmon Falls Creek in sec.23, T.46 N., R.64 E., for the irrigation of a portion of San Jacinto Ranch between the east and west branches of Salmon Falls Creek.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 10.1 ft3/s Aug. 7, 1914, gage height, 3.36 ft; minimum, 4.0 ft3/s July 20, Aug. 20, 1914, gage height, 3.11 ft.
