USGS 13134500 SNAKE RIVER NR HAGERMAN ID

LOCATION.--Lat 42° 45'49", long 114° 53'15"(Rev.) (NAD27), in NW1/4 sec.1, T.8 S., R.13 E., Gooding County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17040212, Hagerman quad., just upstream from Upper Salmon Falls, 0.15 mi upstream from Owsley bridge, 4 mi south of Hagerman, and 11 mi upstream from Big Wood River.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1912 to September 1941 (discontinued). Some periods revised and some periods estimated for publication in WSP 1317.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2,873.46 ft above NGVD of 1929, levels by Idaho Power Co. Prior to Nov. 16, 1916, staff gages at sites within 200 ft at same datum.

REMARKS.--Practically entire flow of river diverted at Milner during irrigation season. Only minor diversions below Milner.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 35,100 ft3/s June 10, 1914; maximum gage height, 9.12 ft, June 7, 1936; minimum discharge observed, 4,030 ft3/s July 15 to Aug. 2, 1915, gage height, 3.1 ft.
