USGS 13243000 CRUZEN CANAL AT LAKE FORK ID

LOCATION.--Lat 44° 50', long 116° 04' (NAD27), in NE1/4 sec.3, T.17 N., R.3 E., Valley County, Lake Fork quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050123, 500 ft downstream from headgates, and 1 mi northeast of town of Lake Fork.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1938 to September 1948 (fragmentary) (discontinued).

GAGE.--Staff gage and sharp-crested weir. Elevation of gage is 4,990 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--Flow regulated at headgate of canal. Canal diverts water from right bank of Lake Fork Payette River for irrigation.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 67 ft3/s May 31 to June 3, 1939, gage height, 2.70 ft; no flow at times every year during nonirrigation season.
