LOCATION.--Lat 43° 57'15", long 116° 43'00"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 sec.8, T.7 N., R.3 W., Payette County, Letha quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050122, 17 ft upstream from right abutment of old steel road bridge (Falk Bridge), north of Falk, and 4.7 mi east of New Plymouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--2,850 mi2, approximately.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July to November 1952, March to November 1953 (discontinued).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2,190 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Many diversions above station for irrigation above and below station. Flow regulated by Black Canyon Dam and affected by storage reservoirs on tributary streams.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 16,600 ft3/s June 13, 1953,
gage height, 8.44 ft; minimum recorded, 266 ft3/s Oct. 29, 1952, gage height,
