LOCATION.--Lat 44° 18'10", long 116° 44'33"(Rev.)(NAD83), in E1/2 sec.7, T.11 N., R.3 W., Washington County, Nutmeg Flat quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050124, on right bank 3.5 mi downstream from the diversion dam of Washington County Irrigation District (in sec.3), and 12 mi northeast of Weiser.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 1920 to September 1926 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Prior to Sept. 15, 1921, water-stage recorder 3.5 mi upstream at different datum. Sept. 15, 1921 to May 4, 1923, water-stage recorder 1,000 ft downstream at different datum.

REMARKS.--The Crane Creek Irrigation District Canal divertes from the south side of Crane Creek in sec.3, about 5.5 mi below Crane Creek Reservoir for irrigation of about 10,000 acres in the Washington County Irrigation District (less than 1,200 acres irrigated in 1926).

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 79 ft3/s July 15, 1920, gage height, 2.83 ft; canal usually dry during nonirrigation periods.
