LOCATION.--Lat 44° 02'26", long 114° 45'21" (NAD83), in SE1/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 sec.12, T.8 N., R.14 E., Custer County, Obsidian quad., Hydrologic Unit 17060201, Sawtooth National Forest, on left bank at mile 4.8, approximately 5 mi south of Stanley, and 5 mi east of Highway 75, on a gravel road.

DRAINAGE AREA.--15.7 mi2, revised. Mean elevation, 8,930 ft.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 2003 to September 2004 (discontinued) (seasonal records only).

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 7,460 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.

REMARKS.--No diversions above station.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum daily discharge, 160 ft3/s June 1, 2003; minimum, 3.5 ft3/s Sept. 9-12, 2004, gage height, 2.17 ft.
