LOCATION.--Lat 45° 10'24", long 113° 52'44"(Rev.)(NAD83), in SE1/4 sec.5, T.21 N., R.22 E., Lemhi County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17060204, Salmon quad., on left bank 200 ft downstream from bridge, 900 ft upstream from diversion gates of power canal, 1 mi downstream from Kirtley Creek, and about 1.2 mi east-southeast of Salmon (courthouse).

DRAINAGE AREA.--1,256 mi², revised.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1928 to September 1943 (discontinued).

GAGE.--Staff gage. Elevation of gage is 3,950 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Oct. 1, 1942, staff gage at site 200 ft upstream at different datum.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, 2,400 ft³/s June 3, 1936, gage height, 4.0 ft, from floodmarks, site and datum then in use, from rating curve extended above 1,200 ft³/s; minimum discharge observed, 14 ft³/s July 22, 23, 1931, Aug. 30 to Sept. 3 1937; minimum gage height, 0.80 ft, July 22, 23, 1931, site and datum then in use.

REMARKS.--Many diversions for irrigation above station. Idaho Power Company diversion 900 ft downstream for power development.
