LOCATION.--Lat 40`00'06", long 79`57'40", Fayette County, Hydrologic Unit 05020005, on right bank bank, at landward end of lock wall of Maxwell Lock and Dam, 0.2 mi northeast of Luzerne, PA, 2.65 mi upstream from Denbo, PA and 1.0 mi downstream from Vestaburg, PA.
DRAINAGE AREA.--
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 2011 to current year.
GAGE.--Water stage recorder. Station maintained for stage readings only. Datum of gage is 753.52 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) (from benchmark). Prior to February 20. 20224, the datum of gage was erroneously reported as 754.0 ft above NAVD88. Satellite telemetry at site.
COOPERATION.--Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
