LOCATION - Lat 36°23'50.36", long 85°10'28.16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Overton County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 05130105, on the left downstream side of State Hwy 52 bridge, 0.3 mile upstream from Nettlecarrier Creek, 2.4 miles east of Alpine, 8.4 miles east of Livingston and 7.8 miles upstream from confluence with East Fork Obey River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 115 mi² of which 34 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1386: 1943-45(P), 1946, 1948, 1952(P). WSP 1506: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1942 to September 1971, October 1979 to November 1981. October 2001 to current year. Prior to December 1942 monthly discharges only, published in WSP 1306.
GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 680.66 Ft, NAVD 1988 (Computed using GEOID12B).
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood in March 1929 reached a stage of about 15.3 ft (present datum), from flood profile by U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.
