- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 36°06'51.60", long 83°59'17.74" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Knox County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 06010207, on left bank on downstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 441, 2.1 mi downstream from Smith Branch, 4 mi northwest of Halls Crossroads, and at mile 16.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 68.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1957 to December 1986, October 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform. Datum of gage is 854.50 ft NAVD88.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 18,300 ft³/s, April 4, 1977, gage height, 13.28 ft, from rating curve extended above 5,000 ft³/s on basis of contracted-opening measurement of peak flow; minimum, 2.5 ft³/s, August 12, 1974, caused by regulation upstream of unknown origin.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Temporary precipitation data from Feb. 7, 2011 to Sept. 30, 2013; Permanent precipitation data from Oct. 1, 2013 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Unshielded, standard 8-inch diameter, unheated, tipping bucket precipitation gage and data collection platform. Precipitation gage is located 6 ft above bridge on gage structure. Satellite telemetry at station.
REMARKS - Precipitation data collected during freezing period may not accurately reflect daily record.
