LOCATION - Lat 33°31'46", long 90°26'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.07, T.19 N., R.2 W., Leflore County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030207, Choctaw Meridian, County Code 083, at County Road 507 bridge, about 6 miles east of Hwy 49 W at Sunflower, or about 20 river miles upstream, northeast of the Big Sunflower River confluence.
DRAINAGE AREA - Drainage area is yet to be determined.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Apr 18, 2012 to current
GAGE - Water-stage recorder.  Current gage datum is assumed from Check Bar elevation. Recorder is located in a fiberglass box, secured to downstream handrail over mid channel, near the wire weight gauge, at junction box. Gage datum was revised to 81.025 ft. above NAVD88 on 11/29/2023 based on GNSS survey by USGS personnel.
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District
REMARKS - Stage record is considered good, except for periods of missing data, which are not gap-filled over 60 minutes.
