LOCATION - Lat 33°22'31", long 92°46'36" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.32, T.15 S., R.16 W., Union County, AR, Hydrologic Unit 08040201, near right bank on downstream side of bridge on State Hwy 7, 0.1 mi downstream from Camp Creek, 3.3 mi northwest of Smackover, and at river mile 22.0.
DRAINAGE AREA - 385 mi².

Revision: Data revised between 04-13-2023 and 05-30-2024 due to primary reference correction found from site survey on 05-30-2024. Revised data includes gage height, discharge, and associated yearly peaks.

PERIOD OF RECORD - Oct 1961 to current year. Gage-height records collected and occasional discharge measurements made by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at this site since Sep 1938. Daily stages 1940 to current year and results of discharge measurements 1947 to 1960 are published in reports of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder.  Datum of gage is 96.82 ft above NAVD of 1988, (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000) GEOID18). 

Prior to September 3, 2024, the datum of gage was 97.56 ft NGVD of 1929.

Prior to Mar 1989, water-stage recorder at site 100 ft downstream at same datum. Mar 1989 to Sep 1991, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - The peak of record occurred on 1974-06-08. The gage height peak reached 24.97 ft with a computed discharge of 52,700 cfs.
