LOCATION - Lat 38°30'55", long 122°04'51" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.28, T.8 N., R.2 W., Yolo County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020162, on left bank, 1 mi downstream from Cold Canyon, 1.3 mi downstream from Monticello Dam, and 6 mi west of Winters.
DRAINAGE AREA - 574 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 901: 1937-38 (instantaneous maximum discharge). EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage known since at least 1905, that of Feb. 27, 1940, on basis of records for station at Winters.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 81,000 ft³/s, Feb. 27, 1940, gage height, 30.5 ft, present datum, from rating curve extended above 30,000 ft³/s; no flow Sept. 6-15, 1950, July 26 to Sept. 1, Sept. 6-9, 1955.
