LOCATION - Lat 32°30'47", long 90°48'44" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Warren County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030208, *Lat 46.7 seconds, Long 44.2 seconds (GPS on Apr 14, 2010)* in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.28, T.18 N., R. 4 E., County Code 149, Washington Meridian, located at NW end of Hwy 61 BR 127.9 (just north of Yazoo River main channel bridge) over the Diversionary Canal, just east of boat ramp, one mile north of Hwy 61/3 split, or .2 mi. SSE of Floweree Road. Site is located 19 river miles above Yazoo/Mississippi River confluence. Local Aquifer code 112MRVA, National Aquifer code N100MSRVVL.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 26.65 ft. Upper casing diameter 1.5 in; top of first opening 26.15 ft, bottom of last opening 28 ft. Well was drilled with a PVC casing, currently 2.34 feet above land surface.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 88.72 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: 2.55 old MP noted (new 2.35 on Sep 04, 2014, new GW sensor), 2.55 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 16, 2014 to present; Undefined, 2.35 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 3, 2014 to present. MP is 2.34 feet above land surface from GPS total station on Oct 15, 2010

GAGE - A DA 522 plus DCP housed in a 3 by 3 by 2-foot fiberglass Hoffman box is fixed to a wooden platform, about 3 feet above ground, located on downstream right bank near piezometer at Big Sunflower Diversion Canal (323045909484300). A KPSI submersible pressure transducer connects the gage to the well.
COOPERATION - This well is maintained in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District (Funding partially lapsed in March of 2018, tentatively re-funded for 2019 Water Year) as part of the Lower Mississippi River Delta Alluvial GW/SW interaction project.
