LOCATION - Lat 45°30'04", long 68°18'21" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Penobscot County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01020003, on left bank 0.6 mi downstream of Gordon Falls, 0.6 mi upstream from Mattakeunk Stream, 3.6 mi upstream from Mattawamkeag, and 4.0 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,418 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1501: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: October 1934 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 217 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Mar. 11, 1991, at site 0.5 mi upstream at datum 12.94 ft higher. Mar. 11, 1991 to May 29, 1996 at site 0.5 mi upstream at datum 10.94 ft higher.
