LOCATION - Lat 45°09'01", long 69°14'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Piscataquis County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01020004, on left bank at upstream side of State Route 7 highway bridge, 2.2 mi south of Dover-Foxcroft, and 3.7 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 26 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DISCHARGE: July 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 405 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS -
  • Water Year 2019: Records good, except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
  • Water Year 2018: Records good, except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
  • Water Year 2017: Records good, except for flows below 1.5 ft³/s, periods of doubtful stage-discharge relation, Oct. 3 to Nov. 16, Sept. 9-28, which are fair, period of ice effect, Dec. 10 to Apr. 2, and period of no gage-height record, July 14-31, which are poor.
  • Water Year 2016: Records good, except for flows below 1.5 ft³/s, periods of ice effect, Dec. 27 to Jan. 6, Jan. 11-15, 19, Feb. 9-16, 18-20, 22-23, 26-27, Mar. 2-5, and period of no gage-height record, June 18-20, which are fair.
