01095434 GATES BROOK NEAR WEST BOYLSTON, MA
LOCATION - Lat 42°21'52", long 71°46'33" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Worcester County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01070004, on right bank, about 500 ft upstream from Wachusett Reservoir near West Boylston.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3.13 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous discharge, Dec. 13, 2011 to July 31, 2014 (gage temporarily discontinued during nearby bridge reconstruction), restarted Nov. 25, 2014; miscellaneous discharge measurements since March 1994.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 395 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from digital map. Prior to May 13, 2020, datum of gage reported as 420 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from digital map.
COOPERATION - Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Water Supply Protection, Office of Watershed Management.
REMARKS - Records are poor due to rating instability.
