LOCATION - Lat 42°48'56", long 70°52'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Essex County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01070002, Station located on Route 1 Bridge over Merrimack River in Newburyport, MA, at the southeast end of the bridge, mounted to the pedestrian railing above the second section of the bridge, 6 railing posts north of the first pier (approaching from the south end of the bridge).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 2015 to current year.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is NAVD 1988. Prior to May 8, 2020, datum reported as NGVD 1929.
