LOCATION - Lat 41°39'45", long 70°50'20" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Plymouth County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090002, on right bank, 220 ft west of Riverside Drive, 0.4 mi upstream from Rt. 6 bridge, 1.3 mi west of Mattapoisett.
DRAINAGE AREA - 24 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge: September 2006 to October 2011 (discontinued) Restarted April. 2015. Discharge measurements made in water years 1965, 1972-74, 1982, 1991-92.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 9.17 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Datum previously reported as 10 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
REMARKS - Records fair except those for estimated daily discharges, discharges less than 5 ft³/s, and those for discharges greater than 400 ft³/s, which are poor. Flow affected by upstream withdrawals for municipal water supplies and cranberry bog operations.
