LOCATION - Lat 42°11'20", long 71°45'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Worcester County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090003, on right bank, 20 ft downstream from West Main Street bridge on Elm Court, 2 mi downstream from Kettle Brook, and 2.5 mi downstream from effluent discharge channel of Upper Blackstone Water Pollution Abatement District waste-water treatment plant, Millbury, MA.
DRAINAGE AREA - 71.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - 2007 daily values table, daily, monthly, and historical statistics.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2002 to current year.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 379.35 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Prior to May 4, 2020, datum of gage reported as 380 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Upper Blackstone Water Pollution Abatement District; U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
REMARKS - Records good except those for discharges greater than 1,000 ft³/s, which are fair. Twice daily fluctuations from waste-water treatment plant, located 2.5 mi upstream.
