LOCATION - Lat 41°50'15", long 71°36'45" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Providence County, RI, Hydrologic Unit 01090004, near Elmdale Road, 1.5 mi northwest of North Scituate.

DRAINAGE AREA - 4.70 mi².

REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: The maximum discharges for water years 2009-2020 were revised on Dec. 15, 2022, based on indirect measurement made following the flood of Sept. 2, 2021. High-flow instantaneous and daily mean discharges for the period Jul. 24, 2009 to Nov. 25, 2020, were revised on Dec. 15, 2022, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating. See audit for all values that were revised.

WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum instantaneous water temperature: 25.4°C on Jul. 20, 2020. Minimum instantaneous water temperature: -0.1 °C on Jan. 17, 2020 and many days throughout the winter.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum instantaneous specific conductance: 503µS/cm on Feb. 13, 2020. Minimum instantaneous specific conductance: 50 µS/cm on Apr. 14, 2020.

EXTREMES FOR 2019 WATER-YEAR:
WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum instantaneous water temperature: 25.7°C on Aug. 19, 2019. Minimum instantaneous water temperature: -0.1 °C on Jan. 07, 2019 and many days throughout the winter.
