LOCATION - Lat 44°21'56", long 72°02'23" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Caledonia County, VT, Hydrologic Unit 01080102, on right bank, 0.7 mi upstream from Water Andric, 1.1 mi downstream from dam, bridge, and village of Passumpsic, 3.8 mi south of Town Hall in St. Johnsbury, 4.0 mi upstream from mouth, and 4.8 mi north of Post Office in Barnet.
DRAINAGE AREA - 436 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 781: 1933(M). WSP 871: Drainage area. WSP 1231: 1929, 1930-31(M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge records: October 1928 to current year. Monthly discharge only October 1928, published in WSP 1301.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 487.79 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
COOPERATION - Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation and USGS Groundwater and Streamflow Information Program.
REMARKS - WATER YEAR 2014-22: Records good except those for estimated discharges, which are poor. Low flow regulated by power plants upstream.
