LOCATION - Lat 41°35'00", long 74°47'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Sullivan County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02040104, at dam on Black Lake Creek, and 2.5 mi northwest of Fowlersville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 29.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1552: 1951-54. WDR NY-75-1: 1974(m). WDR NY-86-1: 1985.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1939 to September 2013 (month-end elevations and contents). October 2013 to current year (daily observation elevations).
GAGE - Nonrecording gage read daily. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929 (levels by Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.).
COOPERATION - Elevation record and capacity table (1952) provided by Eagle Creek Renewable Energy.
REMARKS - Reservoir is formed by a concrete gravity-type dam. Storage began Jan. 6, 1939. Usable capacity, 136.06 mil ft³ between elevations 1,043.3 ft, minimum operating pool, and 1,072.0 ft, top of permanent flashboards. Capacity below elevation 1,043.3 ft, minimum operating pool, about 6.54 mil ft³. Figures given herein represent usable contents above 1,043.3 ft. Reservoir is used for storage of water for power. Water is received from Toronto Reservoir and Lebanon Lake and is discharged through a tunnel into Swinging Bridge Reservoir.
