LOCATION - Lat 39°56'28.4", long 76°59'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Adams County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02050306, on right bank 30 ft downstream from bridge on State Highway 234, 1.4 mi upstream from confluence with Beaver Creek, at East Berlin.
DRAINAGE AREA - 218 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 2003 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and concrete control. Datum of gage is 400 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
REMARKS - Records for water years 2014-2016 are good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Records for water years 2017-2019 and 2023 are good except for estimated discharge, which is poor. Records for water years 2020-2022 are fair except for estimated discharge, which is poor.
